Home Alone

Hey peeps.. hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Am home alone, came back yesterday with Clone & bf. Hubby is on shutdown for the whole week, but I had to work, saving my leaves for CNY. :) He'll be back tomorrow night as we have to attend the ante-natal class on Wednesday evening... And on Thursday evening, we'll be back in Melaka again for New Year! Woo hoo!

So.. this is basically what I had for dinner before going back from work...

Can't help it.. but yes, my mee soto! Wanted bee hoon, but finished! Have been eating so unhealthily over the weekend (we practically had dinners every night!). So, decided to do something healthier for the next few days since I won't be boiling my birds nest soup this week.

Yoghurt fruit salad! Yummy! Saw my colleague doing this for her lunch (can you imagine just for lunch? How to be full???). So I went to buy strawberries (Korean ones, no US/ Australian ones available), US cherries, apples, and I had pears in my fridge. Then I got 2 packs of yoghurt, they were having some promotion, so I got 2 packs. Chopped one apple, one pear, 6 strawberries, and a few cherries, realised it took more than a bowl space. So I had to balance up in two bowls, and one cup of yoghurt (peach mango). It was really yummy! I portioned the fruits so that I can have this for the next few days until I go back to Melaka.

Now, my tummy is hungry again. Either I take my milk with my banana crunch flakes, or... maggi mee.. or my butterscotch bread! :P Need to control my diet.. I think I put on another 1-2kg over the weekend.. Oh no!

Technically, I'm not alone. Princess has been accompanying me all the time. Her kicks are harder now.. and I realised she likes to stretch so hard, I'm not sure if it's her butt or head, but suddenly my tummy feels so stretched at one side, and when I look at my tummy, it's actually lop-sided towards the right. Haha. It was so funny! The next time this happens, I shall take a picture. So I had to rub around that area, (hubby said don't press it back just in case her bones are not that strong yet)....and talk to her so that she doesn't stretch more than that because it really feels.. so stretched.. hahaha.. Her kicks are so hard that now even when you stare at my tummy, you are able to see the little bumps here and there..

Am excited, can't wait to see her in April! And yes, this reminds us to go gynae-hunting in Melaka soon.. real soon...

Till then, if we don't see you,

Blessed New Year 2010!!!
