No. 1 or no. 2?

I went for a friend's wedding lunch, met many of my ex-colleagues from IfX/Qimonda. It does really bring back memories as I can't believe these were the ppl whom I've just started to work with after grad. Most of them have gone their own ways, if not back to IFX after Qimonda went bankrupt. I even met up with all my ex-bosses, and sat with one of them. Hahaha.. errmm.. trying to pull some strings should I ever need a job back in Melaka in the near future. :)

Looking at my tummy, some of them asked, "No 1 or 2?" I was like ???? of course number 1! Hahaha.. I left the company after we got married.. and so 3 yrs have gone by and they thought I could be having number 2. Hahaha.. funny. It was great catching up with the happenings and after all, it's been 3 good years! Time really flies!

I can't imagine working back together again with this bunch of people. Yes, we had our squabbles, our arguments and all that.. but I guess, it's these bunch of people that I've grown fond of, made friends, and even after all of us have moved on, we still keep in touch with a couple of them.. I guess it's the impact of being this the first job after I grad. Hehehe. And my bosses will just look at us and say, wow.. we've all 'grown'. Hehehe. I'm glad I made it for the lunch. Tiring, but all worth it. Sigh. I really missed working there those days. Ironically, that company became the benchmark for me as I moved on to Spore. So far, I can safely say that in the 2 companies that I've been here in Spore, doesn't have even one close bit to what we had in that company. Everything was so organised, systematic and I THOUGHT all MNCs would be the same. Somehow here, things seem more laidback, messy, 'everything'-goes-kinda formula.

Or perhaps, it was because I had a very strict, meticulous, particular, detailed, no-nonsense boss back then? Hahaha.. A short survey for those of us who were under her and the same ppl who have come down to Spore to work.. We all share the same the views of comparison between that company and the current companies we're working in here in Spore. Oh well, there's pros and cons. Oh well, just looking forward to meeting them again.... :)
