We had one class today, and mostly it was for the FATHERs on how to nurture the child, but too bad Jason was so tired and sleepy, that I went alone. The 2nd part of it was on the vaccinations.
New vaccinations and optional ones are the pneumoccocal & rotavirus vaccines. They are quite costly, but after comparing the prices from the one that Adrianne told me, I think here is cheaper than in Msia. One dose of pneumoccocal here costs an average of about $160. Heard in Msia it's about close to RM400? Besides, I just found out that we are able to withdraw our Medisave (Part of the CPF account) for the child's immunisation jabs and vaccines.
Anyway, will bring the list of compulsary vaccinations here back to Msia to see if govt provides, or if the private hospitals provides. This is because I also realised that just in case the child goes to primary school here, they will check the healthbooklet of the child to ensure he/she is fully immunized before they admit her/him into primary school. Good way of the govt ensuring ppl are protected.
Yes, the vaccines are costly, but if we're able to afford it, then we shall give the best for our little one. :)
Up till now, I still have not bought any baby stuffs or bottles or what not. Hahaha. Probably when I'm back for CNY, will go do some shopping.
As for the baby name, we're still cracking our heads for the Chinese middle name. The rest, is more or less pretty much there. Hehehe... Hubby's surname is just so difficult to match! :P
I am a lot bigger now, and reading it, baby should be over 1kg heavy already. And she's moving a lot.. as in A LOT these days...and she likes to roll which tickles me sometimes.. Hahaha. But that's good.. I think I shall miss this part of the pregnancy next time. To have a babe in you that is literally alive and KICKING! We have gone for some physiotherapy classes which teaches us on relaxation, what to do during the 1st stage of labour and so on... Hubby has learnt some good massage techniques (yay!) and also some small exercises that I should be doing to prepare myself for D-DAY!
My feelings? All anxious but at the same time excited! I hope the labour will pass through quickly as I really want to see my little one.. to see how she looks like and to have her in my arms soon! I am really sure she can feel not only my love, daddy's love but also everyone's love for her right now. Hehehe. I think my mum is rather excited too. Something to look forward to in this year since there are no weddings in my family at the moment.... Woohoo!
