Here I was, at home on my bed watching videos of childbirth on youtube. Suddenly there was a knock on my door, and I quickly opened it. It was Jason.. aiyaaahh.. then I asked him why suddenly he knocked, coz he has the keys to come in. So weird. Then he took my hand and ask me to follow him. So I thought he's going to show me some gory stuffs he found outside or something. Then he opened the door and there I saw, my cell-ies.. :) Ash, Jae, Tzang, Abs, Andry. And Andry came in with a big box of stuffs! They just came back from church, which I couldn't attend... :)
I was soooo surprised.. and touched, especially with the notes that accompanied them.. *sniff sniff*
I have been MIA (missing-in-action) for the few weeks or so mainly because I get tired easily and with the ante-natal classes that had a rather hectic schedule, I try to minimize myself from going out at night.. Because usually I don't get enough sleep at nights, and I'll be super tired at work or having headaches, and when I come back, usually my feet will be slightly swollen. (I read it could be because of the hot weather). Once I have enough rest, my feet are fine and back to normal.
So that's why I now try to decline any invitation from friends for dinner or chilling out because I just can't stand crowded areas (yes, that's why I really long to be back home in Melaka where I can just chill in my own room which is probably slightly bigger than the size of the living room here or my own living room with most comfy sofa to laze around :P) And not to mention, walking a lot and taking the train where usually it's so jam-packed and I end up standing right till I reach my station. And by then, it's rather a pain to walk (the feeling is like when I just ran my 10km marathon and my feet are pounding! Ha!).
So, because of that, I don't want to be a burden to my friends (as I usually will need to come back earlier at night), and I know I will get rather moody when I'm tired and in pain.. so, I usually just decline any invitations and stay at home. I always can't wait to get back home immediately from work. Hahaha. So yes, knowing all these now, I hope you peeps don't take it to heart when I decline your invitations at this point of time (unless the place is nearby where I'm staying), ya. :)
I so long to go for a walk with hubby to Chinatown for some photo-taking.. but sadly, I think I probably need to give it up because I'm turned off by the crowd and the hot weather. But walking along the shops nearby my place for brekky this morning really had me in the CNY moods. Everything was mostly in "ang-ang".. and the CNY songs were blaring out loud.. Can't wait for this so-called long break.. anything as long as I don't have to work. :P
Till then, thanks a lot cell-ies and friends, for the lovely surprise and visit last night. Appreciate it lots. *hugs, xoxoxox*
