Back again! Was busy as well as my broadband line was cut off, so I am using hubby's Iphone as a modem now. Hehehe.
I'm into my 34th week today, but we went for the first check up in Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) on Saturday.
Baby's weight: 2.2kg (average)
Mummy's weight: 72kg (+17kg)
Baby's position: Head down (Since 29th week.. clever girl!)
As tummy grows bigger, it's harder to move around.
Simple things like squatting (yes, I still do my squats), bending, walking is a huge task for me.
Even shifting my weight or shifting myself from left to right takes a few seconds. Hehehe.
Sleeping is the worst for me as there is just no position that is comfy enough to sleep in. If I'm on my sides, it's likely she will start kicking vigorously and if I'm on my back, I will feel a sharp pain when I want to shift position again. Not to mention, swollen feet is such a usual sight now. I need to keep my feet on the pillow always when I'm asleep.
While I am experiencing all these... hubby has been a very good support for me. He becomes my hands when I find it difficult to reach or to bend or something else. Also, he's good at foot massage! And of course, he helps me here and there around the place. We do share funny moments with the baby especially when she gets all curled up or rolled up and moving from left to right in my tummy. It's soooo obvious now. I will probably wait awhile longer to take a video of it. Hehehe.
We did some shopping too. Managed to get the travel manual breast pump, bottles of different sizes, all BPA-free. Jusco was having sales on that day, and we calculated, Spore can't beat the price. Either that, the salesgirl made a mistake. Because it was already discounted, and there was another additional 20% discount on top of it. Anyway, it was a blessing!
We went round looking for a baby's cot, saw a number but they looked really flimsy and the price tag was not justifiable. On Sunday, we went to a furniture shop and we saw a more solid one, made of wood, and we might go back there again to check it out next week. We were in a hurry to go back. :)
My parents are also getting ready for the arrival of the little one. They have cleared my brother's room where I will be with the baby and when I'm in Melaka. They are also fixing the air cond in the living room. Hehehe. Excited!
Right now I'm just waiting to go back home sweet home and wait on my little girl's arrival :) Ahhh.. till then.. I'm counting the weeks.. then the days.... :)
