At twelve months old

Sara can do a multiple of things already.. A few milestones she has achieved since 7 days after her 1st birthday:

- WALK very walk that I feel she's almost running. Need to keep on reminding her to walk slowly because sometimes she gets too excited that she leans forward when she walks
- At shopping malls, she will just wail to be put down on the ground because she wants to walk. And she walks FAST. Sigh.
- She still eats pretty much the same thing except if we're out for meals, I let her try a variety of adult food (of course minus the one that is very oily or salty). She loves rice too. Typical China-girl. Hehehe.
- She still drinks abt 6oz every two hourly. Can't increase though. She just wants to play, she forgets to eat/ drink sometimes
- Her tantrum.. is bad. Things do not go her way or when she is being reprimanded, she will scream and wail at the top of her voice. Sometimes, we just got to be firm with her, and let our No be No.
- It's tough disciplining her because she's very strong-willed. You beat her hand and so on, she will do it over and over again, until at one point, I saw her hands were red, then she finally let go, but without a single tear in her eye. That's my girl. Sigh.
- She knows that when I say No, she means it. I'm glad she knows... SOMETIMES...
- Whatever it is, she's such a joy to be around.. she can entertain us with her songs, her actions, etc. Sing Give me oil in my lamp, she will show you the actions and all.
- She knows how to stomp her feet (in the songs), clap hands, and pretty much simple actions like "me/ Sara".
- She is also an expert in climbing up and down chairs, beds which are almost her height. She's NOT afraid of falling at All.
- In fact, she's not afraid of anything. Even the balloon burst in her face, she just went on looking for it.
- Thunder and lightning.. nothing.
- Dog barks (rottweiler barks), nothing. But she's afraid of the Hush Puppy doll that we took pic the other time.
- She can roughly sleep on her own. I leave her in her cot, she plays hide and seek with me, but I do not entertain and i pretend to be a statue.. she will play on her own, and then, slowly, just doze off on her own. (Hooray!)
- She still takes the dummy before she sleeps. Sigh. How to wean her off this?
- Lots of expression on her face. Anyone who smiles at her, will receive a smile back from her.
- It's not really afraid of strangers if you have something to bait her. :P
- She has 4 teeth up and 3.5 teeth lower.
- received her first official haircut from Jason's uncle in KL yesterday. :)

She's quite a handful now, and we're both so physically tired. But I'm so glad I am around to catch up with her important milestones of her life. :)

Mummy loves you, darling!
