Wow, I can't believe that half of 2011 has arrived. Where did it all go to? Time certainly flies... especially in my previous company. Week after week, just passes by so quickly that I just think that I was just buried in my work that I didn't realise it just passed by so quick!
Some updates on us:
1) Hubby - Enjoying "work". Hmm.. What work? Been a month plus and he doesn't really have a defined responsibility. So, he's working on some new stuffs, like FA skills. (Not his job scope but need to learn the basics). Which I think it's pretty interesting. He's now getting in touch with Assembly stuffs. All these while just on testing, product stuffs, I think it makes him an all-rounder. :) Of course, he's happy with the progress of his biz as well.
2) Myself - Rather getting into the gist of my work now. Handling many lead frame issues. And once this stabilizes, my boss is sending me for a supplier tour. Probably starting with Singapore. Yay! On the other hand, am also enjoying my time with Sara. Both of us are. She surprises us many times, and is such a joy to be with. Even though she makes me angry at times.... i.e. not wanting to sleep.
3) Sara - She's a cheeky 13.5mo toddler now! Her antics always make us laugh! She is growing up. She has a mind and will of her own. Looking at her at times, I can't believe she's only 13.5months. If only she could talk, I can't imagine! She understands most of what we request, tell her to do. i.e: Pick up the toys and put into the box/basket, etc, bring the towel/book/ball/penguin (her toy)/ sotong(toy/ puting (pacifier), etc. At aunt's place, after she wakes up from her nap, she will come down from the bed, and try to push in the mattress below her bed. (Obviously she can't do it alone, so aunt helps her). So kaypoh! She just love M-U-S-I-C. Just sing a tune to her, and she starts to shake her body form left to right, or moves her shoulders, stamps her feet, claps her hands, or tries to "sing" (humming mostly). Right now, we are trying to get her into books. To read books. She still eats twice on solids (brown rice-potatoes-sweet potatoes-fish/chicken/pork-vegies, 2 small chinese bowl serving size per meal), and drinks on an average of 6oz milk about 4-5 times per day. She's still not putting on much weight, but her thighs and tummy and cheeks are round enough. :)
Below is Sara's growth chart. At 12.5mo, Sara is above percentile 95 (out of chart) for her height and is between percentile 75 and 90 for her weight. She's very active! At night, it's an uphill task for me to put her to sleep. I usually end up sleeping instead of her. :P
