I can't imagine myself as a home-maker. As much as I want to be, I'm not sure if I would excel at being it. I tried, and I think I failed. Though I loved the cooking and baking cakes (Check out my FB pics when my company had lotsa shutdowns during the economy crisis in 2008), but I guess, with a little one running about, I don't think I can do it. Probably when she's older.
I've seen many of my friends who are home-makers, who excel at being home-makers. They can cook wonderful dishes, bake wonderful cakes, and on the other hand, I have seen those who barely can cope up with being a home-maker.
And I've seen friends who are not home-makers, but they would definitely excel if they are one. I wonder how they find time??!!
Well, it's all up to how we manage our time, ourselves, our lives. From now on, I hope to spend less time on FB and on the pc, and more time doing stuffs that I used to enjoy doing.. e.g., beading shoes, cross-stitching, scrap-booking, etc. I don't have luxury time like some home-makers do, but I guess, I can make do with that little time that I have (that is after every nite, Sara sleeps!). Meanwhile, I want to spend quality time with Sara as much as I can, though sometimes people makes it so big that I don't get to spend enough time with Sara like they do, full time. But hey, I guess it's not the quantity, but the quality.
Sara, still turn out alright, doesn't she? I still manage to discipline her, teach her stuffs, if not the same, better than some kids whose mums are home-makers. And I'm proud to say, that so far... I've been an every bit of a full time mum to Sara as much as those who are home-makers. :)
