Sudah diBERSIHkan?

I don't know. The whole weekend has been a weekend of just looking at FB comments and links and videos on the campaign for electoral reform. I think it's a good cause. But me, I have never cared for politics or do not care about what's happening to the country. (Don't get me wrong, but I have aready voted TWICE!).

It's just me I guess. I never loved the country, at times, I do despise coming back here. (oh why oh why). I find that it's a good cause the BERSIH thingy is making such a big hoo-haa. But then again, how much of this can ever change the scenario? 10-20 yrs down the road? By then, I'm not sure if our children (grand-children) will still be staying here or probably migrated somewhere else. Yes, I'm truly moved by the videos of those people who stood up for our rights as citizens, the uncles and aunties coming out and getting tear-gas, water canon, and all those. I can't stop feeling so "united" after seeing all these videos. And I wished Melaka had one, so that I can join in too!

But, truly, I am not sure how much this is effective. I see all kinds of rubbish that the mainstream media is painting. All the denials, and accusations. Sigh. It knows no end.

On the other hand, I had durians this wekeend and now I feel it's worsen because suddenly, as I was about to go to sleep, I felt a bit of a pain (swollen kind of pain) on the back of my neck. When pressed, it looks like one of my nerves have swollen. Prior to that, I did have a huge pimple just somewhere at the nape of my neck. Sigh. I hope it's nothing to do with anything growing in there, and let's just hope it's just due to durians or a slight sprain effect of carrying Sara too much. Am still waiting for the pimple to burst though. The area surrounding the pimple is also getting quite painful. Sigh. I whacked 5 of those bitter leave thingy which is supposed to cool down my body. Hehehe. Hope it works.
