Taddaaa!! Before we know it, we're already into the fourth quarter of the year. It has been a busy month of Sept.
After Taiwan trip, had a series of things, my work became so hectic that I didn't have time to sit down even for 5 minutes. It came one after another. Even had to go down to Spore to make that emergency visit to my supplier.
Next, Sara suddenly woke up with a high fever on Sunday morning, at 39degC. Scared us, we thought it was her teething, but apparently when we brought her to doc the next day, it's a throat infection. Immediately she was put on antibiotics. Her fever soared up to 40.5 that night and we were watching her round the clock like an owl. Sponging her, feeding her medication and so on. It was really traumatic for her for the 4 days as each time I carry her for her milk time, she screams because she knows that medication comes next. Poor girl.
After she recovered, she had lots of red spots. The after effect of fever. And then, she's up and bouncy again. (mind you, even when she was having fever, her activeness did not, I repeat, DID NOT slow down.).
Updates at 17mo:
- Talks more words now, like a parrot, so kaypoh.
- Does things that we sometimes get surprised at her actions.
- 1 pre-molar is out, 4 canines are emerging. Poor girl. Her gums are super itchy.
- Loves to do puzzles, blocks, read, etc...
Ah, she's growing, but at times, still want to manja like baby. :)
