Surprisingly I could whack all the spicy stuffs with no issues at all....
And yes, I brought back mum's slow cooker because MIL (mum-in-law) wanted me to bring her steamer which was sooo huge to cook the birds nest. So instead, I took mum's slow cooker, which is much smaller, and cuter, easier to bring around. MIL gave 20 pcs of birds nest (carefully cleaned by her), 2 big packets of the red dates, 1 big packet of the black date (she said this is better), 1 packet of the "geng-chi", and 1 packet of the pao-sum. Mum had to repack everything for me to smaller sizes so that I can bring it back to Spore. Then each time I go back, I just take my stock. Hahaha.
I thank God for MIL's concern, but I think, my body can't take all those stuffs for the moment.. Prolly after my 3rd month.
Am going back this weekend again, but this time back to my in-laws. I am wondering what they will be feeding me with this time. Hopefully it's not too "por" else, my body will show it's signs of rejection.. muahaha...
OK, till then, I need to go and check the bird's nest if it's cooked!
